We have been photographing weddings since 2018, first in Ukraine, then across Europe, now USA. And we have been the couple standing at the front too, so we know exactly how that day feels: enormous, overwhelming, and gone before you have understood it was happening.
That is why we do this. Not to make beautiful pictures, though we will. To hand you back the day afterwards, all of it, the parts you saw and the hundred parts you missed.
What we want for you is simple. That you two are so wrapped up in each other you forget the cameras exist. That your people are loud and happy. That nothing feels staged, because nothing was.
Markitan is a team now, photographers and cinematographers trained by us, shooting our way, with every image and film edited by our own hands. And we keep our calendar small on purpose. Your day deserves our whole attention, not a slice of it.
